Inaugural World University Animation Awards unites global talents and concluded successfully

Held on 16 Sep, the ceremony presented six prestigious awards to recognise exceptional animation works selected from over a thousand entries across 96 countries and regions. The event also brought together elite leaders and industry luminaries to witness the creative brilliance of emerging animation talent.

HKMU secures over HK$33 million in RGC research funding, ranking first among self-financing institutions

In the latest Research Grants Council (RGC)'s Competitive Research Funding Schemes for the Local Self-financing Degree Sector, HKMU secured HK$33.42 million for 47 projects—over 37% of the total allocation. This is the third year HKMU has ranked first among local self-financing institutions in both funding amount and the number of projects.

HKMU welcomes LegCo approval of a HK$1.3 billion loan for new campus development

HKMU welcomed the approval of a HK$1,317.48 million loan by Finance Committee of the Legislative Council (LegCo) under the Start-up Loan Scheme for post-secondary education providers. This loan will support part of the development costs for the proposed new campus in Ho Man Tin, advancing the University's long-term development.

Mainland Alumni Dinner strengthens connections in the Greater Bay Area

HKMU recently hosted its second Mainland Alumni Dinner in Shenzhen to strengthen connections with alumni and friends from various sectors in the Greater Bay Area and share the University's latest achievements and developments.
