HKMU and University of Sussex launch dual degree programme for undergraduates

Commencing in the 2026/27 academic year, students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Global Business at HKMU will have the opportunity to complete their final year at the University of Sussex and receive a dual degree. 

HKMU presents “Resplendent Attire and Graceful Demeanor”: Cantonese opera costumes exhibition

The exhibition, now underway at the Ho Sik Yee Library on the Jockey Club Campus, features a collection of rare and exquisite Cantonese opera costumes. It is open to the public for free and runs until 30 June.

HKMU students revive Xu Beihong’s ink-wash paintings with digital art for the Year of the Horse

Four Creative Arts students contributed to the production of the world’s first naked-eye 3D animation of Xu Beihong’s renowned ink-wash painting, Six Galloping Horses.

HKMU’s inaugural running team participates in Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon

The HKMU Running Team, comprising over 160 students, staff and alumni, participated in the marathon for the first time in January. Nearly 100 University supporters cheered on the runners at various points along the race route. 

Alliance with CMA to nurture talent and strengthen collaboration

HKMU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA), aiming to cultivate high-calibre talent and strengthen collaboration among the industry, academia and research institutions. 

HKMU partners with FHKI to deepen industry-academia collaboration

Under an MoU with the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), the University and the FHKI will collaborate to support talent development, facilitate knowledge transfer and promote applied research.

HKMU hosts Tin Ka Ping Foundation Cheque Presentation Ceremony

The ceremony, held in January, honoured the Foundation’s continuous support for the University. Its generous donation of HK$4 million will support further education for prison inmates and help promote the development of the Tin Ka Ping Centre of Chinese Culture.

HKMU and RICS sign MoU to foster talent development in the real estate sector

An MoU was signed between HKMU’s School of Business and Administration and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to enhance talent training in Hong Kong’s real estate sector. Additionally, RICS awarded a Certificate of Accreditation for a bachelor’s programme offered by the School.
