The inaugural World University Animation Awards, being held between 15–16 Sep, received more than 1,000 submissions from around the world. Apart from recognising the animated talents, a series of free activities will be organised for the public, including screenings of finalist animation films, expert-led forums and autograph sessions with world-renowned animation legends.

It offers a highly promising method for the early detection of prostate cancer through a simple urine test.

HKMU has been granted 1,891 subsidised places across 21 undergraduate programmes under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP) for the 2026–27 academic year, securing again the highest number of funded programmes and places among the eight participating self-financing institutions.
